A Big Day!!
A few days ago I bought a potty seat for Ezra. I am not really ready to train him yet but he has been interested at times so I thought I should be prepared. Well today is a big day at our house! The preparation paid off. Ezra went poop in the potty! He went pee in the potty yesterday but since we’re not really training right now I did not publicize it. I figure if he lets me know that he has to go then I might as well use to my advantage. So today while standing at the table he looked at me and said “poopy” while straining a bit. I asked if he wanted to put in the big potty to which he enthusiastically replied “YEEEAAAH”. So I ran him into the bathroom, got him ready and set him on the ‘pot’. What a victory. Not to say that the whole process is going to go super smooth but at least he has done it once! I’ll rejoice in the small things! He loves to sit on the potty anyway so I threw in a picture of him just having fun. It was taken the other night. As you can see the joy was in pulling the toilet paper off the roll.
