First Christmas!

Christmas was a lot of fun this year. Both boys enjoyed it and I think Dustin and I enjoyed it more than them. Caleb of course being an old pro knew exactly what to do but Ezra was not so sure. All he knew is that before that day he could not touch the colorful boxes. So Caleb helped to teach him what to do. He loved the curly ribbon on the packages. He kept pulling it out and letting it spring back. It was really fun to watch. He then would open the gifts if we started it and showed him there was something inside. He was curious to see what it was. After it was all said and done he loved playing in the wrapping paper. He wanted to rip it into smaller pieces.  Not only was it fun inside but we also had a lot of snow to make it white Christmas. After we were done at our house we went to our friends house for dinner. The weather was not so good so we went prepared to stay the night incase we could not get back home. The boys had so much fun there playing with their friends (all adults but they think the kids are the best ever and love to play with them).  We had a great meal and we did end up staying over night. The roads were not good enough to drive at night so we crashed there. Both boys did great and had a wonderful time. What a great first Christmas!
